This app rewarded "Best of the Year" in 2013 by PC Magazine and is still the best Network App on the App Store.

Users say: ‘Better than Fing and Deep Whois!’ : I’ve been using a number of other apps like Fing, Deep Whois, etc … but then I found this app. It includes a whole raft of network utilities, including some not found in other apps…

EVEN FOR INEXPERIENCED USERS: THE APP CONTAINS DEMO VIDEOS, HOW-TOs, GLOSSARY

This App with its 50+ individual Tools helps to analyse local or public networks for security issues or wrong configurations.

It provides various scanning options such as WiFi Network IP scanning, Port scanning and integrates the SHODAN scan engine, Security exploit tests and more.

Results can be further analyzed by opening IP Addresses or Ports with one of the tools provided by this app.

All tools are tightly integrated so you can easily jump from one tool to another.

Pros and cons of Network Toolbox Net security app for iPhone and iPad

Network Toolbox Net security app good for

...for in depth network an security analysis. Well documented, regular updates and good support. This guy really cares for his app! Tried a couple of Networktools and this suited me best by far.
Ive been using this app for some time now and am very impressed with both the range of tests it can carry out, as well as its ease-of-use. Furthermore, its built-in documentation is first rate. Every new version keeps getting better. I recommend this app to anyone looking for a set of network testing tools. I dont think youll find any better network testing tool-set for the iPhone.
Professionally made app Has a lot of info Great buy overall
Great apps for serious work! Paid once: almost four years of usage + all updates for free including with new features! Lightning fast reply to your Emails....! Thank you Markus!
I hesitated, too. But this is much more than an ordinary app. The user space needs more contributors like this. Please support him. Youll be buying a fine app and more...
News section provides useful tips and information. Bluetooth article could be expanded on to include fuel pumps as we just had this issue in NC and SC. Im no techno genius but even I was able to perform network scans and trace route where apps are connecting. iScanner, for example connects to Russia so one can backup to Yandex, yet Im not using Yandex? Wish we could block these apps from making these connections so they dont use data etc.

Some bad moments

Just purchased and the first icon I touched is "device" which causes the app to crash and restart. Extensive set of tools which I have only begun to try out. Im getting "buyers remorse" from the crashes when trying to use feature "device"
I know very little about the underbelly of these software solutions; however, this app developer is serious about being helpful to general users. Some of his tools (like the new Verizon data collection ID tool!) are extremely useful and interesting. I havent dived deeply into this treasure chest yet but I will and this developer deserves many more positive reviews.
I wish I found this long ago. Currently at first glance and the entry pop up page was a good start for this old guy. If people complain about price they haven looked hard enough at how almost complete they are as offered. I only wish I found this sooner. To be fair I will re review after further use and trying to understanding the programs that keep popping up.
If youre in Security Auditing / Testing of any type at any level, this is a must-have!! - Any future developers that aspire to create an "Multi-Tool-SecTest-App" are going to be hard-pressed to be so complete, updated and as forward thinking as "Mr. Marcus" has been thus far... and, "Mr. Marcus" shows his heart is set on continually updating, upgrading and enhancing this truly remarkable (dare I say) masterpiece of a mobile application! Dont hesitate on this one! Thanks for reading my review! ~RMW; (Add alphabet of Cert acronyms here) ~Security Auditor ~Risk Analyst and ~Penetration Tester
I very rarely write a review and when I do it is because Im upset the app has been abandoned or crashes or ... We all know how that feels. In this case I can only applaud and admire the developer and his dedication and intelligence. This is a very well thought out, documented, and implemented app. If only I could get it on my Mac I would be sooooooo so happy. I cant imagine the developer being able to keep both applications for those environments without losing some focus so Im happy that we have this and just want to say thank you very much and great work. 100 stars from me :-)
This Swiss Army knife of a tool meets all of my basic network troubleshooting needs. Thank you so much for your efforts and updates.
